Spring is in the air - somewhere...

March is a great month for trimming, tidying, and cleaning up all the branches that fell this past winter. It is also a great time to cut back your ornamental grasses.

Most roses appreciate a good pruning now, too. Consult a good rose book for the best methods to trim your type of rose since timing and methods vary widely with individual cultivars.
